Description

These BBQ wings are incredibly easy to make in the air fryer, perfect for a quick and delicious meal. The wings are seasoned with a simple spice rub, then air-fried to crispy perfection and coated in your favorite BBQ sauce. Enjoy these flavorful wings as a snack, appetizer, or main course.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings, drumettes and flats separated
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons BBQ dry rub (or your favorite spice blend)
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil and BBQ dry rub until evenly coated.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Place the wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer, being careful not to overcrowd. You may need to cook in batches.
  4. Air fry for 15 minutes, then flip the wings and cook for another 10-15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is crispy and golden brown.
  5. In the last 5 minutes of cooking, brush the wings with BBQ sauce, flipping halfway through to ensure even coverage.
  6. Remove the wings from the air fryer and serve immediately.
