Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup honey
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium)
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions
- Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, BBQ sauce, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Add chicken cubes to the honey garlic BBQ sauce and toss to coat evenly. Marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 1 hour in the refrigerator.
- Preheat grill to medium heat (about 350-400°F).
- Thread the marinated chicken onto the soaked skewers.
- Grill the skewers for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Rotate the skewers occasionally to ensure even cooking and prevent burning.
- Remove from grill and serve immediately.
